How It Works
Type in your departure and destination airport — IATA, ICAO, or city name. Traveler's Atlas draws the great circle route between them.
Tell us if you're on the left, right, or in the middle. We use this to make sure every announcement tells you the right side to look out of.
As your aircraft moves, points of interest fade in around you. Tap any one to learn more, or let the captain's voice tell you about it through your earbuds.

Traveler's Atlas does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information. Specifically:
Traveler's Atlas requests access to your device's location solely to display your current position on the in-flight map and to surface relevant points of interest nearby. Your location is:
You may deny location access and still use the app manually by entering your flight details. Location is optional.
Map tiles are bundled directly within the app and served locally from your device. No map requests are made to external servers during use.
The POI database is downloaded to your device and stored locally. Updates are checked periodically by fetching a small version file from our server. This request contains no personal information.
Traveler's Atlas does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The app contains no user-generated content or social features.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.

All content, design, and code within Traveler's Atlas is owned by or licensed to us. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
Geographic data is sourced from Natural Earth (naturalearthdata.com) and GeoNames, both provided under open licenses. Point of interest descriptions are derived from Wikipedia content under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license.
Traveler's Atlas is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
